Jack Blount founded Alpha Bay Corporation in 2005 and has served as Chairman of the Board, President, and Chief Executive Officer since its inception.
Blount began his career in enterprise systems with IBM over 35 years ago. Since then, he has held executive and leadership positions with many of technology’s most influential forces, including, IBM, Novell, Borland and JD Edwards. Blount’s technical acumen encompasses enterprise software, Internet, telephony, data networking, wireless networking, and hardware.
For more than 20 years, Blount has held senior management positions including Chairman, CEO, COO, and CTO. He has also launched three software startups, taken two software companies public, and worked in tandem with venture capital and private equity communities during their corporate lifecycle.
Blount is a graduate of the Southern Methodist University with degrees in math and computer science.
